This course is aimed at Primary and Secondary support staff who wish to explore and develop their impact on pupil progress. They will explore how they can develop their role to support pupil progress and achievement.

Course participants will:

  • Consider their role in assessing progress in a lesson
  • Learn strategies that they can adapt to maximise learning and promote progression within a lesson
  • Develop skills to challenge and motivate pupils
  • Learn how to set high expectations which inspire pupils and help them enjoy their learning

The course will involve both theory and practical opportunities. It will encourage a solution focussed approach with participants sharing their expertise and knowledge while reflecting on their own practice.
